Tammy Monistere, Executive Director – Originally from Louisiana, Tammy has spent more than twenty years making Alabama home.  She graduated from University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Psychology and English before beginning her career in the nonprofit sector.  She joined the Conservation Alabama team in 2013 after serving as the Deputy Director of Mobile Baykeeper, where she worked to further Gulf restoration and protection of our coastal resources. She serves on the board of Lifelines Counseling Services and has previously served on the boards of the Junior League of Mobile and the Mobile Historic Development Commission.     

Jeff Martin, Policy Director – Jeff has served as Policy Director for Conservation Alabama since 2007. As Policy Director he provides strategic policy support and direction for organizational initiatives; educates elected officials on environmental priorities, and educates citizens and organizations about how to be more effective in their government relations efforts. Previously Jeff served as the first Executive Director for the Alabama League of Environmental Action Voters, now known as Conservation Alabama. Jeff has also lobbied for the City of Birmingham, the Alabama Humane Federation, the Alabama Press Association, Equality Alabama and the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association.

Stefanie Francisco, Communications Director - Stefanie joined Conservation Alabama in 2014. Previously, she worked in the national news media at CNN, Politico, and the PBS NewsHour. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in political science and received a master's degree from Auburn University, where her research focused on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Before joining Conservation Alabama, she served as partnership coordinator at Mobile Baykeeper. Stefanie and her family live in Montgomery.

Brittany Stuber, Civic Engagement Director - An Alabama native, Brittany is responsible for directing Conservation Alabama’s civic engagement and philanthropic programs. Before joining Conservation Alabama in 2018, Brittany worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute, Spring Hill College, UCLA, and the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. She is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College (B.A.) and Spring Hill College (M.B.A.), and recently completed a master of public health from George Washington University, with a focus on health policy and environmental health.
