Brian Cash, President – Brian Cash is Special Counsel in the law firm Spain & Gillon, LLC, where he focuses on public finance, municipal law, affordable housing, and economic development, bringing innovative solutions to financing for public entities. He has his law degree from the University of Alabama, and undergraduate from Birmingham-Southern College. 

Ryan Collins, Secretary/Treasurer – Ryan Collins, ASLA is a Principal at Dix.Hite + Partners. A registered landscape architect since 1999, he has successfully designed and managed projects from residential gardens to large scale land plans in a variety of settings; college campuses, neighborhood parks, downtown streets, and amusement parks. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 1996. Landscape architecture is the perfect marriage of his interests and abilities - ecology, construction, all things technical and love for the natural environment. He lives in Birmingham with his wife, Jennafer (also a landscape architect), and their three children: Elise, Abigail, and Rowan. He enjoys everything outdoors - hiking, camping, gardening, playing, and coaching, especially with his family.

Matt McDonald - Matt is a partner at Jones Walker in Mobile. Matt’s practice focuses on a wide variety of complex civil litigation, including defense of consumer class action lawsuits, high-stakes tort and commercial litigation, and municipal liability. Matt is also frequently retained to handle post-judgment motion practice and appeals involving adverse or large judgments. For more than 30 years, Matt has served as general counsel of Alabama’s statewide tort reform effort, the Alabama Civil Justice Reform Committee, which is made up of premiere business associations and corporate interests in the state. Matt also represents businesses, public officials, and governmental entities with regard to ethics and campaign finance compliance issues.

Myron Penn - Myron is a founding shareholder of the law firm of Penn & Seaborn, LLC. From 2003-2005, he served in Alabama Governor Jim Folsom, Jr.’s administration as Director of Constituent Affairs. After graduating from Cumberland School of Law in 1998, Myron began his own political career when he returned to his home county in 2000 to successfully run for Chairman of the Bullock County Commission. Just two years later, he was elected to the Alabama State Senate representing District 28, which includes Barbour, Bullock, Henry, Lee, Macon, and Russell counties. In his two terms from 2002-2010, Senator Penn was elected to numerous Senate Committees and served as Chairman of the following: Committee on the Judiciary, Joint Legislative Committee on Prisons, Committee on Confirmations, Committee on Tourism and Marketing, and Senate Democratic Caucus. Notably, Myron wrote the 2007 Rules of the Senate of the State of Alabama, and was twice recognized as the Alabama Humane Society’s Legislator of the Year.
